• Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID, email address (if you choose to share it), and name (if you choose to share it).
• Receipt Data: Photos of receipts you scan, extracted text including merchant names, dates, amounts, and categories you assign.
• Usage Data: Basic app usage statistics to help us improve the app experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Keeper service, including scanning, storing, and organizing your receipts
• Sync your data across your devices when you're signed in
• Generate reports and analytics about your spending
• Improve and optimize our app

3. Data Storage and Security

• Your receipt images and data are stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service
• All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Your data is only accessible to you through your authenticated account
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

4. Data Retention

• Your data is retained as long as you maintain an active account
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings menu
• Local data on your device can be deleted separately from cloud data

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Export your data (PDF, CSV formats available)
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of optional data collection

6. Third-Party Services

Keeper uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign In: For secure authentication
• Firebase (Google): For cloud storage and synchronization
• Apple Vision Framework: For on-device OCR processing

7. Children's Privacy

Keeper is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
